Lesson 16: Favors of Rasullulah

After Allah, Rasullulah deserves our love and affection. Due to his blessed personality, the greatest wealth of 'Deen' has been granted to us. The Holy Prophet said, the tortures which have been given to me in path of Allah have not been given to any other messenger. All those pains were endured by our Prophet, so that his Ummah gets saved from the punishment of the hereafter. Our Prophet said about loving him as:

Translation: No one can be a believer among you unless. I become dearer to him than his parent his children and from all people of the world.

i. Condition of love: Obedience of Prophet:

Allah has ordered at many places in Quran about obedience of the Prophet. Allah says:

Translation: Say O (Muhammad), if you should love Allah, then follow me (so) Allah will love you.

This condition of obedience is not only bound to obedience of our Prophet: The Holy Quran describes that the objective of all messengers of Allah sent in this world was to let people obey them.

Translation: And we did not send any message except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. Those people would be deprived of even the sight of the holy. Prophet on pond of kausar, who would have invented new ways in religion instead of, obeying him: It is narrated in another hadees.

Translation: "My every follower will enter paradise except the one who refuses". It was asked, "who is the person who refuses". He said, "The one who obeys me will enter paradise and the one who disobeys is the one who refuted.

ii. Demands of Prophet's love:

Prophet's obedience: The best proof of dear Prophet's love is his obedience. Allah is pleased with it and real success is obtained. As, it is described in Holy the Quran.

Translation: "And whoever obeys Allah and His messenger In addition, has certainly attained a great attainment, Allah makes it. binding to obey His messenger for loving Him. It is said by Allah

Translation: Say (O Muhammad), if you should love Allah, then follow me”.

Following Prophet's ways: The traits and ethical values, which have been taught by Prophet, must be adopted. For instance, he was kind hearted, he liked simplicity. He was truthful and trustworthy. He was generous and an embodiment of patience and tolerance. It is must for us to follow his moral, character.

Remembering Him with respect: We should keep on remembering him and whenever we remember him, the respect and honor must be observed.

Darud - o - Salam: Whenever, his name is mentioned or heard, darud should be read, because it is commanded in the Holy Quran:

Translation: Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels (ask him to do so), O you who have believed, ask (Allah to confer) blessing upon him and ask (Allah to grant him peace)
